Bike Trip - Day 2 (with pictures)

We woke to a cool 50 degree morning.  The boys helped Mr. Phillips prepare some of the eggs for our breakfast and we off on our way at about 8:30am.  We drove from our campground to a starting point closer to the Marconi Radio station site - not too close though as we biked about 7 miles and then the boys got to check out the incredible views.  From there everyone biked back to Nickerson State Park for a total of 20+ miles before lunch.  We had a nice lunch of sandwiches and some of Mr. Phillip's famous homemade soup.

After lunch most of the boys were wiped out and simply couldn't make the next leg of the day.  Five boys headed out with us for the last part of our ride hoping to get all 50 miles in.  We headed out with Matt M, AJ, Mitch, Paul and Joe - accompanied buy a Mr Kelley, Mr Wallace, Mr Obrien, Mr D Chase, Mr Jeanjaquet, Doug and Mr Keenan (more adults than kids - I'm not sure what that says).  Mr. Kelley set a fast pace for us but the boys rose to the challenge and every one of them made the trip to the end.

For dinner we had some great softshell tacos and they should be serving some ice cream for dessert about right now.  The boys are doing well and have worked hard.  We have another short ride tomorrow - 12 miles or so and then we are headed back to Weymouth.
