Herring Run Cleanup - 4/3

Service Project!! All boys need service hours for advancement.  Meet us by 8:30 in the parking lot of Brady's Package Store.
From the Weymouth News
HERRING RUN. The Weymouth Herring Run Committee will be holding it’s annual clean up day on Saturday April 3, this year. All will be meeting at Herring Run Park on the corner of Broad St. and Commercial St. at 8 a.m. rain, shine or snow. The effort is to clear up trash, cutting brush, removing debris and replacing ladders. Those interested in helping out should dress for work along the river and dress warm. Last year there were 60 volunteers who removed a lot of material. Once again Dunkin Donuts will provide hot coffee, hot chocolate and donuts. Due to the efforts of everyone who has helped over the years The Weymouth Herring Run continues to be one of the best in the state. Call 1-781-749-0189 or e-mail gmloring@verizon.ne.
