First Aid Homework - due 1/3

First Aid Homework Reminder

Scouts must detail the 4th scenario - we discussed the other 3 in the last class

Final Exam Scenario

You are on a bike trip and are in a group with two other scouts. Both are wearing helmets.

They suddenly collide, and each scout falls off their bike. The first scout has fallen into the street, and as you come across him you can see he has a scrape on his knee and is complaining of aches and pains. He did not hit his head in the accident, and seems fine otherwise. The second scout is a different story - he took a harder fall, landing off the road in the brush, and is in a lot of pain, with a gash on his lower leg that is bleeding and a bloody nose. He is conscious, and is complaining of pain but otherwise seems to be okay.

What do you do next to ensure safety for both injured parties, and to properly treat each injured person while you await the arrival of other members of your group?

For this assignment, what you need to do is detail out the steps from when you first arrive on the scene until help arrives.
