When: Saturday, December 18th from 9:30 AM until Noon
Where: Weymouth Heights Club
All scouts who are participating in the First Aid class with Mr. Chase must attend the practical component, where we will discuss and perform hands on activities, including the following:
• Treatment for bruises, strain, sprains
• Immobilization of broken bones, including splinting
• Proper treatment for head, neck, back injuries
• Bandaging of wounds
In addition, scouts will be issued a study guide packet with details from the training, and a “situation” card with the final homework assignment, due at first January meeting on 1/3/2010.
