Shawnee Peak trip update

  • Man-made snow coats a ski run but barren ground remains under a chairlift at Shawnee Peak ski area, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, in Bridgton, Maine. Across much of the Northeast most natural snow has either melted or been washed away by rain. Photo: Robert F. Bukaty / AP

The photo above shows yesterdays conditions at Shawnee Peak - there is plenty of man made snow, and our intrepid skiiers should have plenty of fun!

Temperatures are trending warm for the weekend, however night skiing is available, and your son should bring warm clothing, and chapstick.

Meals will include pancake breakfasts, soup and sandwich lunch, and a turkey dinner for supper.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Chase.
