Troop 2 events Aug 14- Aug 21



Reminders

Monday August 14th - Canoe night – assemble at the Esker Park nature center at 6 PM sharp for a van ride to the site. Please bring your lifejackets, watershoes or footwear appropriate to canoe and carry the boats back and forth, water, and bugspray.

  

Monday August 21st - Troop 2 visits the PIT -  we are planning to visit JF Price on Pleasant Street in South Weymouth  - scouts will meet at the office on the right hand side (all cars should be parked there), and the scouts and adult leaders walking into the Pit (so please wear study shoes). Scouts should apply bug spray and bring a bottle of water.  Please pickup your son by 8:30 at the office.


Early reminder - Boy Scout Highland Games,  Friday October 20-Sunday, October 22, 2017--- Camp Squanto, Plymouth - Troop 2 is planning to participate, and we need to get a headcount soon

Activities: Pioneer Rope Throw, Weight Throw, Braemer Stone, Caber Toss, Compass Medallion, Hoist the Sheep, Toss the Sheaf, Farmer's Walk,Cairn Construction, Fire-Starting, Hand-Shake Wrestle, Water Balance Pipe, Haggis Toss, Kilted Run, Tug-0-War
