Reminders
1. We will be camping) at Valley Pines on Saturday 11/16, scouts should dress for the weather, and plan to have lunch and dinner in the woods (cook or bring a sandwich) and should bring drinking water and apply bug spray. if you are dropping off your son, please be sure there are sufficient adults present for safe scouting BEFORE departing.
if the weather holds we will camp at VP Dec 7th as well.
2. Scouts working on Citizenship in the Community are reminded to bring their Homework to class 11/18 – 3 facts about Weymouth, and information about an issue important to Weymouth – we chose the ongoing construction (homes, condo’s, apartments, road work, Union Point, etc) and pro’s/con’s impacts, etc of this population density – Scouts should come prepared to talk about both assignments.

Monday 11/18 – Meeting at the clubhouse, drumming at 7 PM, full uniforms – all scouts working on Citizenship in the Community - PLEASE bring dues to this meeting - $150.00 per scout, $100.00 per adult - so we can file our renewal paperwork by the end of November.
Monday 11/25 – Gym Night and Troop Committee Meeting, 8 PM First Church
Friday 11/29 - Meat Raffle, Cathay Center - more information to follow
Note - our meat raffle fundraiser is critical to ensuring we can continue to offer low to no cost programs this year, as BSA dramatically raised annual membership fees in mid October. We are committed not increasing our annual dues, and need to close the funding gap. Please be sure to mark the date, and to let friends and families know.
