1. On Sunday 6/24 the Troop will be presenting a plaque recognizing our first sponsor, the East Weymouth Congregational Church, where we got our start in April 1911. We are also honoring our Eagle scouts with the award of their Eagle palms, and will be presenting a recognition from the Mayor as well.
All Scouts should report in FULL UNIFORM (scout shirt, pants, neckerchief, slide, and belt) at 9:30 AM.
This is a very important event, and we are hoping all scouts will attend.
2. Monday, 6/25 is our first Camp night. Packets will be distributed with details about the program. All first year scouts are required to attend with their parents. All scouts who have been to camp previously must attend this meeting to pick up the packet and review with Mr. Chase.
By this time you should have turned in your RSVP for camp. This was distributed at the first meeting in June, and return was requested on 6/11 with 6/18 as a final check.
ALL scouts and adults planning to attend summer camp must RSVP so we can plan our activities.
Our Scoutmaster, David Chase, has explained at several meetings the expectations for proper behavior and the results scouts can expect should they choose to disregard the guidelines. This program has been approved by our Troop Committee, and will be the model for all events. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Chase.
Reminder - Thursday evenings: 7 PM WHC Garage – Processing returnables for redemption - Adult volunteers are encouraged to help. This is our fundraising source. Attendance has been sparse, and we need your help.
