Troop 2 6/18 Search and Rescue Activity

Our surprise activity last night involved a mock Search and Rescue drill. Our scouts put into practice skills they were taught at the previous weeks meeting to help find a missing person,  Theodore "Teddy",  our lost Tiger Scout. As the story goes, he was lost while playing at the Emery Estate.

The scouts immediately began the Search components at the estate, searching the grounds for the missing person. After a comprehensive and thorough sweep, JB found Teddy hugging the tree like he learned at our  training. 

Scoutmaster David Chase reports  "I am proud of all of the Scouts of Troop 2 that helped out this evening."

Thanks to the scouts and adult volunteers who helped make this drill a success.
