1. Scout Sunday at the First Church, Weymouth Heights, has been rescheduled for Sunday , February 24th. Scouts should assemble in FULL UNIFORMS at the front of the church at 9:30 AM. All are welcome.
2. If you have not already done so, please RSVP for our March 2 camping trip to Saugus by responding to this email.

Sat. March 2-3 – Campout, Breakheart Reservation, Saugus, Camp 9 – cabin & tenting, hike to Eagle Rock – Headcount needed – spaces are limited.
Mon. March 4 - 7:00 PM Drum Practice - 7:30 pm Weekly Troop Meeting
Sun. March 10 - Troop Committee Meeting - 7-8 PM Weymouth Heights Club. Please report items for discussion under New Business by 6:45 PM.

With the 2013 Ski Trip complete, we're looking forward to the remainder of 2013, and have compiled the following list of outdoor and camping events.
More details will be available as plans firm up.
March - Camping and hiking in Saugus at Breakheart Reservation
April - Camping at Valley Pines or another location
May - Hike and overnight campout
June - Local river canoe trip with an overnight stay on a Boston Harbor Island
July/August - Summer Camp, Cliff Island (July 27-Aug 4)
September - Camping at Valley Pines or another location
October - Tentative bike trip and camping - location to be determined
November - Camping at Valley Pines
December - Cabin camping
Reminder
Bottle and Can sorting - Thursday evenings: 7 PM WHC Garage – Processing returnables for redemption.
We need adult volunteers from our organization to help with this program, as this is our fundraising source and assures costs are kept to a minimum. If this program is unsuccessful, other funding sources will be necessary, and costs for our programs will rise.
Currently less than a dozen volunteers participate. Most Thursday evenings 4 or 5 people help.
We need more support from the group to make this program successful. Please see Mr. Chase if you have any questions or can help us out.
Assistance can be as simple as dropping off empty bottle case boxes, helping sort on Thursday, picking up the materials on Wednesdays, or dropping off materials at the redemption center.
