Upcoming Troop 2 Events
Friday, June 14th – Relay for Life - Troop 2 will
be participating in the opening ceremonies for the annual Relay for Life at
Weymouth High School, 1 Wildcat Way (Enter off Park Avenue or Pleasant Street)
, on Friday, June 14th.
Scouts should arrive at 5:30 in full uniforms (no shorts or
flip flops please) at the main entrance to Weymouth High School.
We will be marching onto the field and will walk a lap of
the track during the opening, featuring our color guard including flags and
banners, starting at 6 PM.
Parents should pick up their scout at 7 PM at the main
entrance to the High School.
Saturday, June 15th – Pack 2 Canoe Day – Scouts are
welcome to join the cub pack for a canoe day at Whitman’s Pond, on Middle Street at
the boat ramp. Scouts must bring a lifejacket to this event. New scouts are
encouraged to attend to get acclimated to canoes which we use at Summer Camp.
Monday, June 17th - Weekly Meeting - No Uniforms, Summer Schedule- 7:30 – 9:00 - Camp Packets
and proposed Camp2013 Merit Badges will be distributed.
Monday June 24th – Special Event – 7 PM
to 9 PM at the First Church, Weymouth
