Scouts should arrive early Saturday morning (by 8:30 AM) to help move gear to the island. Please do not drive into the beach area – this area must be clear to allow for equipment drop off.
Please pick up your son before 8:00 AM on the following Sunday, Aug 4th. Please do not drive into the beach area – this area is reserved for equipment pick up.
Note
– camp payments were due on July 15th – if you have not paid for
camp yet, please bring your dues on Monday July 22nd. All dues must
be paid in advance so we can purchase food and other essentials for the week.
1. Final headcount for camp
has been determined. If you did not RSVP for this event, we are not
anticipating your attendance at camp and cannot guarantee a space for you. 2. Merit badge class information has been provided to your son along with his camp information packet. Badges will be reviewed with him before camp, and alternative badges will be offered to fill in gaps.
3. Camp 2013 dues are $240.00 for youth, $30.00 per day for adults, with the maximum per family cost at $600.00 and can be paid at any time before the 7/15 meeting. Please contact Mr. Chase with any financial questions.
4. We will not be having a "Family Day" this year at Cliff Island, due to declining attendance and logistics. If you choose to visit us during our week at camp we ask that you contact the troop leadership in advance of your plans so we can prepare sufficient food and arrange a ride from the mainland for you when you arrive. You'll need to bring a lifejacket for each member of your party, and should plan to depart the island before 5 PM as the park closes at sunset.
