Weekly Meeting 7/15 - reminder - Camp Dues must be paid this evening.

Tonights meeting will be an outdoor activity. Scouts should wear sneakers (no flip flops or sandals) and should have bug spray applied and bring a water bottle. We will be hiking, walking and exercising.

The meeting starts at 7:30 PM, and ends at 9:00.



Summer Camp information


1. Final headcount for camp has been determined. If you did not RSVP for this event, we are not anticipating your attendance at camp and cannot guarantee a space for you.

2. Merit badge class information has been provided to your son along with his camp information packet. Badges will be reviewed with him before camp, and alternative badges will be offered to fill in gaps.

3. Adult roles and expectations are also defined and will be communicated at the meeting on July 14th. An email was sent to all Adults who confirmed attendance on July 2nd. If you did not receive this email, please let Mr. Chase know.

4. Camp 2013 dues are $240.00 for youth, $30.00 per day for adults, with the maximum per family cost at $600.00 and can be paid at any time before the 7/15 meeting.  Please contact Mr. Chase with any financial questions.

 

Reminder- there are two Monday meetings before camp - 7/15 will be an outdoor event, 7/22 will be the packing meeting.


Important dates for Camp2013

Monday,  July 15 - All dues for Camp2013 must be paid by this date, all scout paperwork is due (code of conduct, medical forms)
 
Monday,  July 22 - Last meeting before Camp2013 – Packing for camp, final preparations

 

Summer camp - July 27th to August 4th.


Medical Forms information :

In order to attend Camp2013 all participants must have a current medical form on file with the Troop.

This form includes three sections, and is available at the following location

If you have a serious allergy (bee stings, food, etc), any  fears or concerns,  or need to take special medications, please provide details in a letter to the Scoutmaster before camp.

If your son takes behavioral medications we strongly urge you not to suspend his medications for the week at camp.
