Photos from a Weymouth Police Department Visit, circa 1979

As we prepare to visit the Quincy Police Department, some historical photos from our archives of a similar visit in the late 1970's to the Weymouth Police Department are below.

Several scouts visited the old police station, currently the home of the Weymouth Recreation and Youth Center, and received a tour of the facility.

In this photo, our Charter Representative, Mr. Roger Cowles is second from the left. David Pepe is to his left, and Jim Pellitier and John Harding are to his right.

In this photo our Troop Committee Chair, Mr. Brian Chase, is on the right. John Harding and Jim Pellitier are in the center of this photo, taken at the dispatchers desk in the old police station

Included in this photo is Mr. Gerald Hamilton, father of three Troop 2 Eagles, who served for many years as an Assistant Scoutmaster to Ron Parry and as President of the Weymouth Heights Club. On his left, Bruce MacLeish, and on the right, Eagle Scout Scott Salloway.
