Scouts honored by the Archdiocese of Boston

Several of our scouts were honored by the Archdiocese of Boston - Faith Formation of Youth and Young Adults last night for their achievement of the Pillars of Christ award in 2013. This award is given to those scouts who complete all 4 of the Catholic Church Awards - the two cub scout awards - Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei - and the two BSA awards - Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII.

The award night was sponsored by the Office for New Evangelization of Youth and Young Adults (www.one4boston.org) and celebrated middle and high school youth, and young adult youth ministry, CYO Athletics, Scouting and Catholic Schools.

Scouts honored with this award were  Nicholas Chase, Alvin Schneider, Andrew McCabe and Tim Jeanjaquet. Unfortunately, Tim was unable to attend the event, and Mitchel Schneider accepted on his behalf.

In addition, Catherine McCabe and Laura Schneider were honored for their receipt of the Bronze Pelican award, which will be presented at the Holy Cross Cathedral on May 18

Please join us in congratulating these members of our Troop.
