May events and uniform reminders

Below are our events for the month of May

Reminder - All scouts are expected to wear a full uniform at meetings, consisting of a Scout Shirt, Green pants, a Scout belt, Neckerchief, and Neckerchief slide.

Scouts are welcome to change into their uniforms if they arrive late due to a previous engagement.

Please work with your son to ensure when he attends a meeting he wears his uniform. It is distracting and disrespectful to the unit,  the other scouts and ultimately to himself to come to a meeting out of uniform.

If your son does not have all components of his uniform, please see the Scoutmaster, Mr. David Chase

If this is unclear, please compare scouting to other programs where uniforms are required - ask yourself - "Would you send your son to soccer, basketball, lacrosse, hockey,  or another sport without cleats, without his uniform or shirt, without pads or socks?"

Scouting is no different.

Scouts must respect the uniforming requirements for our unit, and should not report to a meeting in partial uniforms - this includes jeans, sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, missing neckerchiefs,  etc - if you need assistance, please let us know.
