Upcoming events and summer schedule

Good Morning

Please note the following three items

  1. This evening Troop 2 will be attending a Pinball Night at Pop Bumpers Pinball on Rt 3A in North Weymouth. Scout should be dropped off at the WHC between 7 and 7:30. We need adults to help shuttle scouts to the venue. Please wear your uniforms. Scout should be picked up at the clubhouse at 9 PM. Please do not drop off and pick up at Pop Bumpers as we need to check scouts in and out to ensure safe scouting. This event is free for scouts.

  1. You are cordially invited to the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Matthew Mullen on Monday June 9, 2014 in the First Church downstairs meeting hall at 8 pm

All Scouts must attend in full uniform. Refreshments to follow presentation.

Our annual Awards & Recognition Banquet honoring our Eagle Scouts is scheduled for February, 2015

  1. Our Troop has been invited to participate in the opening ceremonies for the Relay for Life on Friday, June 13th at Weymouth High School.

Scout must report in full uniforms (shirt, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, pants, belt) at 4:45 PM, arriving at the field side of the High School, and should be picked up no later than 6 PM.  Parents and siblings are welcome to join us.

We will assemble and fall in for a lap of the track as a color guard, and may be joined by scouts from other troops as well as cub scouts and girl scouts.

Please make every effort to attend this event.
