Troop 2 Weekly Update



Please note - the summer camp lost and found items are in the garage. If your son is missing clothing or equipment, please see Mr. Chase.


1.      Thanks to the Egan family for hosting our Swim Night on Monday August 17th. Although it was a cool night, a group of scouts attended, and fun was had by all.

2.      Our meeting on Monday, August 25th will be held at 7 PM at Mitchell Field, directly behind Abigail Adams Middle School. Be sure to wear bug spray, sneakers (not sandals or flip flops) and bring a bottle of water. Parents please pick your son up promptly at 8:30

3.      Our Summer Camp Awards Night will be held on Monday September 8th, at 7 PM at the First Church. A traditional Ham and Bean Dinner will be prepared by our adult volunteers, and we'll be recognizing the achievements of our scouts at Summer Camp 2014 and throughout the summer. Dessert will be served. In total, 39 scouts attended camp, and earned over 175 badges. Some scouts earned several badges, while others participated in leadership activities or taught classes.  Families and Friends are welcome and encouraged to attend and celebrate the scouts achievements and help us launch our return to regular meetings.All scouts must wear full uniforms to this event.If you have any questions, please contact our Scoutmaster, Mr. David Chase.
