Troop 2 reminders

We had an unexpected scheduling conflict with the gym night last evening, as the hall was being set up for a memorial service, and the gym night was cancelled.

1. As a reminder, annual dues must be paid in November  in order to remain registered with Troop 2 for 2015. If you have not paid your dues, please drop them in the mailbox at the clubhouse or connect with Mr. Chase on Friday evening during the returnables sorting.

If you do not pay your dues, and do not indicate either by response to this message or by coordination with the Scoutmaster your intention to reregister, we will drop you from the Troop at registration in December. A late fee may be required to add you to the register in 2015.

• Scout membership dues for Troop 2 are $125.00, which covers all registration fees and the ongoing cost of badges and materials.

• Adult membership in Troop 2 requires completion of Youth Protection training every two years. Dues for adult registration are $75.00.

Registration includes subscription to the monthly Scouting magazine, and all scout families receive Boy’s Life magazine as part of their renewal.

We firmly believe that no scout should be unable to participate based on hardship, and financial assistance is available for any scout with demonstrated need and payment plans are also an option for the high cost events such as summer camp and the ski trip. Please see Mr. Chase to discuss.

2. Ski Trip paperwork and payments to reserve a space must also be made as soon as possible.

Monday   12/22 – Annual Troop 2 Holiday Party - please bring a $5-$10 swap gift and a dessert. No gag gifts, and all should be age appropriate.
