Troop 2 Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet Reminders and Updates

We will be recognizing the achievements of all scouts, including honoring 9 Eagle scouts with the presentation of their Eagle rank on March 21st

1. The banquet will be held on Saturday, March 21 at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall, beginning at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be served between 6 PM and 6:30 PM.

2. The meal will be a pasta dinner, with meatballs, sauce, bread and salad.   Bug juice, water coffee, and tea will be provided.  If you prefer a different beverage you are free to bring it. Please no alcoholic beverages as this is a Boy Scout function and alcohol is prohibited.   Kindly consider bringing a dessert for the dessert table.

3. Tickets are $5.00 at the door, and children under age 10 are free.  All scouts must report in full uniform. Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms as well. Please let Mr. Chase know your headcount for the event at our meeting on 3/9/15

4.  We are asking scout families to help us fill the raffle table with items.  Your help is needed to make the year's raffle a success.  Please consider donating an item to the raffle or partnering with another scout family to donate an item.  Past items have run the gamut from gift cards, gift certificates to local establishments and services, outdoor equipment and scouting items, gift baskets and handmade items.
Another option this year is to consider making a small monetary contribution in lieu of an item.  The contribution can be any amount ($5-$10 or whatever you are comfortable with).  These contributions add up quickly and allow us to purchase a large raffle item.  Please send contributions to a weekly scout meeting with your son in a clearly marked, sealed envelope “Eagle Scout Scholarship Raffle Contribution”.

Items and contributions can be brought to any Monday night scout meeting or can be dropped off at 79 Front Street.   Please contact Teresa Quinton at 781-340-7446 or via email at trjq@comcast.net  if you have any questions, need an item picked up, or would are interested in helping with the raffle.
