Troop 2 Reminders - please review, as updates have been made.


Troop 2 Summer

June 1 - Please Review


- Our next meeting is Monday, June 1 at the clubhouse. This meeting will be the first of our summer schedule, and scouts should report in summer uniforming - no uniforms - please wear a scout shirt (camp or other event tshirt preferably) - Scouts must also wear shoes - no sandals or flip flips - to every meeting, and should apply bug spray and bring a bottle of water, as we tend to be outside during the summer schedule.


- Our Monday, June 1 meeting will include a brief Troop Committee Meeting to recap the month of May and discuss plans for the Summer. If you're able to attend, please plan to arrive at 7:30

- We ask that all parents of scouts who have recently joined the troop please attend the Committee Meeting.

- All scouts should report for our JUNE 1 meeting prepared to Service Projects at the clubhouse - please bring gloves. There will be several efforts ongoing, including an Eagle Scout Project.

June 8 - Please Review
 
- On Monday night June 8th ,  we are planning to visit JF PRICE in South Weymouth  - scouts will meet at the office on the right hand side (all cars should be parked there), and the scouts and adult leaders walking into the Pit (so please wear study shoes). Scouts should apply bug spray and bring a bottle of water.  Please pickup your son by 8:30 at the office.

Reminders

- During the month of June and July the Citizenship in the Community badge will be offered to all scouts ranked Star and above.

- Summer Camp at Cliff Island in NH will be held from July 25 to August 2 - all scouts and adult leaders (anyone over the age of 18) attending must RSVP for this event, via email or in person, by June 15th. 

As a reminder to all, in order to be eligible to attend camp you must be registered with the troop, and must be engaged and participating in events throughout the year. You also must be present at our meetings in June and July to prepare and plan. This event fills up fast, particularly for adults, so please keep an eye on your dates.
