Troop 2 Update 7/13

First of all, congratulations to Chris Rosario, who attained the rank of Eagle Scout last week!

Tonight's meeting (July 13) is a clubhouse activity, starting at 7:30 PM - please report to the clubhouse - remaining camp packets will be distributed and we'll go over any open questions from parents and pick tent partners.

Our final pre camp meeting is on July 20  at the clubhouse, starting at 7:30 PM – Final Payments for the week are due - We will also conduct a MANDATORY meeting of Adults planning to attend camp at 8 PM - If you are unable to attend for any reason you must respond to this email or contact Mr. Chase.
Our list of adults assisting at Camp this year is below - if you are planning to attend and don't see your name, please respond to this email or contact Mr. Chase immediately as we did not receive your RSVP and are not expecting you.
As a reminder - all adults are required to attend a mandatory meeting on July 20th at 8 PM at the clubhouse. Adult dues are $30.00 per day. If it reads "confirm" under duration we need to clarify your plans to attend so we can schedule activities. All adults have assigned roles and responsibilities and attend camp to work and assist with the operations.

November 14th.  Flag Retirement 2015 will be held in Weymouth this year-  details to follow.

Summer camp reminder - Summer Camp at Cliff Island in NH will be held from July 25 to August 2 - all scouts and adult leaders (anyone over the age of 18) planning to attend were required to RSVP for this event, via email or in person, by  June 15th. If you have not RSVP'd we are not expecting you, and have not included you in the plans.
Assistant Scoutmasters (Adult members between 18 and 21 as well as formal ASM's) must coordinate with Mr. Chase for activities leading up to camp, including mandatory attendance at Monday meetings and Thursday planning and packing sessions.
Camp is $240 for the week ($30 per day) and payments are due NO LATER THAN 7/20/2015

Any questions, concerns, suggestions or considerations for scouts, including merit badges, rank advancement/ progress reports, Eagle Scout and leadership process, and troop operations should be directed to the Scoutmaster, David Chase.

Troop Committee meetings are held every month, typically coinciding with Gym Night, and all troop members are urged to attend to have input into the program
