Troop 2 Reminders -
Community Service Opportunity
On Saturday, 9/12 we've been asked to assist a long time supporter of our troop, the O'Connor family, at their home at 957 Commercial St, across from the end of Unicorn Avenue, just after the new Legion Field parking lot, at 9 :00 AM.
If you're able to make it to help for a few hours in the morning, please drop by. Scouts should be dropped off at the bottom of the driveway on Commercial Street and walk up to the property. We'll be working until roughly noon. Please wear light clothes, bring gloves, and a bottle of water.

Great Pumpkin Give- A Wey
We've been offered an opportunity to take over a stand to sell items and present information about our programs at the Great Pumpkin Give- A Wey on Oct 3. All funds raised at the booth will support our sponsor, the Weymouth Heights Club, with costs of operation during the winter months (heating oil, electricity, etc)
Please let us know if you are interested and available for 4 hours (12-4) on that day to assist by emailing troop2weymouth@gmail.com by Monday, August 31. We're looking for help from ALL organizations supported by the WHC - Cubs, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts.

Cost: $25 per person
RSVP by 8/31, money is due at our meeting 9/14
Cost includes: patch, campsite, and all activities
Saturday will include:
-zombie costume contest before dinner
-Annihilate the zombies (ranges)
-Mission: Escape Earth (rocket building and orienteering course)
-COPE
