Meeting Reminder - Assemble at the Clubhouse at 7:30, Committee Meeting

Tonight’s meeting is an emergency preparedness drill at the Emery Estate – all scouts are required to participate in preparation for the bike trip and summer camp.

Scouts should report to the clubhouse at 7:30, and be prepared to walk up to the Emery Estate as a group, in full uniforms, please bring a bottle of water, bug spray, and we expect to finish and return to the clubhouse by 8:30

While the scouts are at the estate we’ll have a brief committee meeting at the clubhouse.

Please note - Flagging and the Parade are both FULL UNIFORM events, and we expect to see ALL scouts in attendance at both events.
 
Summer Camp will be held from July 23-31 at Cliff Island in Bristol, NH, Cost for the week has been set at $250.00 per person, and all Adults must register with Mr. Lamie to be considered as candidates to join our staff at summer camp by June 1.

As a reminder to ALL - If you plan to attend Summer Camp, the expectation is you'll be actively and regularly participating in events and opportunities for service from May through July, as well as regularly attending our weekly meetings. This is also the case for scouts as well as adults who hope to join us at Cliff Island. If you're not participating in the months leading up to camp, we're not expecting you'll be joining us on the island.


BIKETRIP 2016 Details – (RSVP tonight 5/23 for attendance)

Where: Atlantic Oaks Eastham MA Cape Cod
When: Friday night June 3rd– Sunday June 5th
Cost: $30.00 for event
RSVP due at our May 23rd meeting

Start time at Atlantic Oaks :  6 pm Friday Night             

We will be biking all day Saturday…  expecting to arrive at the beach late in the day for a quick swim, and an ice cream social is planned in the evening after dinner
We will be tenting outside.

Pick up at Atlantic Oaks:  9 am Sunday Morning
All participants will be biking on Saturday on Cape Cod Rail trail.

Head Count needed by: Monday May 23rd

What to bring:  Athletic clothes and shoes for biking, bike, ground pad & blanket , water bottle, bug spray,  warm jacket and clothes for camping, flashlight, toilet kit, towel, bathing suit, sun screen.
Troop will provide: Tents, food and snacks for all in attendance.
