Troop 2 Announcement of the passing of John Schneider

It’s with great sadness that we announce John Schneider, husband of Laura and father of Eagle scouts AJ and Mitchel, has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Schneider’s.

John was a long time member and supporter of Troop 2, having been a scout as a young man in our troop with Ron and Mr. Pratt, and again as an adult with his sons. We all have great memories of John at Cliff Island, on Bike Trips and at Valley Pines, and so many places and spaces along the way in between. Arrangements for John are as follows

Visiting Hours are Monday, May 9 from 4-8 PM at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street in South Weymouth, and a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 10 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth Landing.

All scouts and their families are encouraged to attend.
