Ski Trip Day 2

Breakfast today was pancakes and bacon.

A soon as breakfast was over the boys headed to the mountain to beat the crowds.  Mr Kelley started his lessons for the beginners and some of the boys really took to it well.

Derek headed to Portland , with his dad and Doug, for his 10:30 appointment with the bone doctors.

The day was very nice, for weather; much warmer than last year.

Lunch was chicken sandwiches.  After lunch Mr Kelley ran his Snow Sports class.

Dinner was pasta with meatballs, chicken parm and homemade minestrone soup.

Most of the boys headed back out for some night skiing.

Derek arrived back at the lodge at 7:30, in his new sling.  He seems to be doing well, but no more snowboarding for a while.

The football game is currently on the TV, but the real competition is on the foosball table.  Mr Wallace and James Annis are currently dominating the competition.

No other major injuries today; JB did cut his finger pretty good on his boot buckles and we had some pretty good falls.
