Troop 2 Ski Trip - What you need to bring.

Pack your gear in a hockey type zippered bag or a small suitcase

What you need to bring
Sleeping bag and pillow
Two sets of long underwear (top and bottom) and four sets of regular underwear
Pajamas, robe, slippers – sleeping clothes.
Four pairs of warm socks
Snow boots (wear sneakers or workboots)
Warm coat, sweatshirt, hoodie, etc
Hat to cover your ears
Three pairs of gloves, waterproof if possible.
Ski goggles or sunglasses
Spending money for ride up (all food is provided at lodgings)
Sweaters or sweatshirts
Ski pants if you have them. If not, lined sweatpants or heavy jeans work well.
Toiletries including toothbrush and toothpaste, comb and bath towel. There are showers in lodgings.
Chapstick, ski mask
Your medications (if you are on any) – please let Mr. Clancy or Mr. Kelley know upon arrival.
Note- this weekend is often one of the coldest of the year, so dress warmly.

You can bring a cell phone and/or an IPod with you, however you should not bring an IPod skiing as it’s important to be able to hear the other skiers.

Please no video games or video players. If you choose to bring electronics or a phone, the troop is NOT responsible for them.

This is a recreational trip, however scouts can earn the Snow Sports merit badge as part of this weekend
