Citizenship in the Nation follow up

Work continued on the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge with Mr. Chase with discussion of the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Preamble to the Constitution, the Constitution, and the Constitutional Amendments. 


As a follow up to class we have a second homework assignment.

Homework 2 - Due Dec 17th

Write a letter about a national issue (can be the issue used for Homework 1) directed to one of our elected officials in Congress (Senator Scott P. Brown; Senator John F. Kerry; Representative Stephen Lynch or Representative Bill Keating) sharing your view. This letter must be shown to Mr. Chase at the class meeting. Please do not send the letter until it has been reviewed.
