Troop 2 notes the passing of Vilma O'Connor

We've received word that Vilma O'Connor, mother of Eagle Scout Jon O'Connor has passed away.

Scouts in Troop 2 will recall meeting Mrs. O'Connor when we honored her grandson, Austen, with his Eagle Scout award earlier this year.

Mrs. O'Connor has been a lifelong supporter of Troop 2, and for many years stored our truck and the drum corps trailer at her home. Her son "Boots" has also been a great source of support for the troop and has joined us at SOAR and graciously helped us arrange the trip to the Bedford Trail two years ago.

Arrangements are pending, and Boots will let us know soon so we can pay our respects.
