Troop 2 Swim Night, August 26th

On Monday, August 26th we will be having a scout swim night at the Egans pool,  247 Pine Street, Quincy from 7 PM until 8:30 PM. Thank you very much to Becky, Brian and Ben Egan for this opportunity. Scouts must be on best behavior.

Scouts should bring a towel, bathing suit, bug spray, goggles, and ear or nose plugs of their own.  There is no running around or pushing into the pool. There is also a basketball net in the lower driveway and a pool table in the basement. All spaces are available for use by the scouts.

Directions:

Take Rt 3A over the Fore River Bridge, take a  right onto Southern Artery, a left onto Furnace Brook Parkway, a right onto Newport Ave, a left onto Beale Street, and a left onto Pine.

An alternative route is to coming along the beach from Sea Street,  and the Southern Artery allows a  left onto Beach Street at the light. Beach turns into Beale Street in Wollaston Center at Hancock Street. One can follow that up and over Wollaston Hill to Pine Street.

Pine Street is quite hilly, and we suggest people park on the flat area on the cross street, which is  Hillside, as the Egan's are on the corner of Pine and Hillside.

Please contact Mr. David Chase or email us at troop2weymouth@gmail.com with any questions.
