Troop 2 update - Peddock’s Island Trip reminders

Peddock’s Island Trip reminders

-       Scouts will be sleeping in Yurts – 6 scouts per Yurt, with bunks. Scouts do not need to bring a tent.
-       Scouts must bring a warm sleeping bag, water bottle, a light jacket or sweatshirt, and sturdy shoes/boots. Messkits are not required
-       Please no junk food, soda, electronics, cellphones, lighters or sheath knives.
-       Proper conduct and adherence to the scout law and scout motto is expected
-       All participants must follow the direction of the Scoutmaster and Senior Scouts
-       Food has been purchased (thank you to Mr. David Chase and Mr. Mike Harper) and cooking equipment has been set out.

Where: Peddocks Island – Boston Harbor Island

Transportation for all scouts is via a reserved ferry.

Saturday, Sept 21,
8:30am arrive Hingham Shipyard to load the ferry Abigail and park cars.
9:00am depart Hingham,
9:30am arrive Peddocks Island.

Sunday, Sept 22,
9:00am load ferry Abigail, depart Peddocks,
9:40am arrive Hingham for parent pickup
