Working on Merit Badges

Please note - scouts are encouraged to work on merit badges at their own speed.  We frequently offer classes for many badges at the clubhouse and at events - robotics, citizenships, etc - however scouts should also review and follow their interests to discover new things - there are over 130 merit badges out there, each with it's own set of requirements.

Resources are available online - including requirements and workbooks. One good source is here

http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Merit_Badges

However there are others out there. Handbooks are available at the clubhouse.

If you are working on badges, you must let our Scoutmaster, David Chase, know so that he can make sure you have a merit badge counselor and the necessary prerequisites in some cases.

Parents - if you have any questions, please check with Mr. Chase.
