As discussed at our Committee Meeting, we have several key events coming up. Scouts are strongly encouraged to attend all events. If you are unable to attend due to a prior engagement, please let us know at troop2weymouth@gmail.com so we can plan ahead and establish headcounts.
April Events
April 17 - New event - We have been asked to participate in the opening ceremonies for display of an art exhibit raising awareness about Veteran Suicide hosted at Town Hall, on Wednesday April 17th at 7PM. We'll be lining the area with our parade flags, scouts are required to wear full uniforms.
This is the only Massachusetts stop for this travelling exhibit, and Exhibit will be open 7:45PM – Midnight on Wednesday and Thursday, April 18th from 7PM-Midnight
The exhibit will be on the lawn on the Middle Street side of the Veteran Wall. Drop off by 6:45, pickup at 8 PM in the Adams parking lot or at the school admin lot.
April 27 Valley Pines campout - all scouts must camp regularly to advance in rank. This campout will focus on knife and axe training for our new scouts and any who have not completed TotenChip, work on fire building and management for the Fireman Chit, and the Paul Bunyan Woodsman badge.
