Reminders - there is no scout meeting Monday night due to the school vacation and state holiday.
For cost planning over the next three months, please plan to allocate $90.00 for the Whitewater rafting trip, with an RSVP date of Monday May 6, and a $300.00 cost for Summer Camp, RSVP date of June 10.
Both events include food and lodging, as well as activity costs. Carpooling is required, and we will need a firm headcount for each event,
We have an event on Wednesday, April 17, and are asking for all to attend - We have been asked to participate in the opening ceremonies for display of an art exhibit raising awareness about Veteran Suicide hosted at Town Hall, on Wednesday April 17th at 7PM. We'll be lining the area with our parade flags, scouts are required to wear full uniforms.
This is the only Massachusetts stop for this travelling exhibit, and Exhibit will be open 7:45PM – Midnight on Wednesday and Thursday, April 18th from 7PM-Midnight
The exhibit will be on the lawn on the Middle Street side of the Veteran Wall. Drop off by 6:45, pickup at 8 PM in the Adams parking lot or at the school admin lot.
We have a regular scout meeting on Monday April 22nd
On Saturday, April 27 we have a campout planned at Valley Pines - all scouts must camp regularly to advance in rank. This campout will focus on knife and axe training for our new scouts and any who have not completed TotenChip, work on fire building and management for the Fireman Chit, and the Paul Bunyan Woodsman badge.
Monday, April 29 will be our next Committee Meeting.
